This webinar is now closed. This was the last in a three-session series on rural dropout prevention and recovery sponsored by the U.S. Department of Education with Jobs for the Future. This webinar featured a CIS Performance Learning Center in Berrien County, Georgia and Youthbuild of Southeast Ohio. Presenters and their colleagues shared lessons learned about effective use of curriculum, building partnerships, and helping students transition to postsecondary opportunities and careers. These lessons are applicable for rural districts and community partners looking to build or strengthen their own recovery program. Participants also had an opportunity to share reengagement and recovery strategies with peers. This event was designed for district and school leaders (superintendents, principals, key district staff, and counselors), recovery program staff, and community partners.
